Busy, busy weekend and The Artful Stampers Challenge #55

It has been a very, very busy weekend for me this week.  Last Thursday I went away on a quilt retreat with my local ladies quilting group and boy, did we have some fun and lots and lots AND LOTS of laughs.  Those ladies are soooooo funny!!!  My sides were aching sooo much from laughing!  AND the tears were running freely!  But we also managed to achieve A LOT of work too!  Here is a sneak peak of a very special project I have been working on…

I can’t tell you all about it… yet!  I will post a full update, with lots of completed pics, once the very special recipient has received the goods.

Anywho, this week those lovely, talented ladies at The Artful Stampers have been working hard as well.  We’re back to another sketch challenge…

It’s a bit easier than the last one (well, I think so at least), but I haven’t had much time to whip one up given my busy schedule this weekend.  Here is what I came up with…

Supplies used:

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Card and Paper: Mossy Meadow, Season of Cheer DSP, Red Foil

Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black

Accessories: Softly Falling TIEF, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Delightful Dijon Lace Trim

Haven’t had a chance to tizzy up the inside either, sorry.

AND because I was late getting back, I’ve missed getting into the loop for the challenge, but here’s their links…
