The Artful Stampers Challenge #60

Welcome back! I am so glad you hopped along from Tamsin’s blog.

We have another colour challenge this week and another big challenge for me. My lack of variety in Stampin’ Up! colours can be a disadvantage. But I have yet again whipped out my substitution suit and made my own rules! (sometimes you just have to do that).

Cajun Craze seems to be the colour many of my demonstrator friends are reluctant or forget to use. It’s not one that has made it into my collection at all yet, but that’s more an economics thing than a dislike of it.

I decided to use Tangelo Twist as my dark and have substituted Delightful Dijon in as my light.

Is it cheating if my accessories aren’t quite the challenge colours either?

I’ve  done the best I could with my limited resources and it just so happens that my washi tapes are Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango. I think they’re a close enough match to Delightful Dijon and Tangelo Twist – they look like they belong here.

Thanks for stopping by – please keep hopping along and see what Alison has come up with this week.

Yep, sometime you just have to use what you have 🙂 Your card looks great. You’ll have to add Cajun Craze to your next order 😉
