Christmas Sampler 2019

I have a class coming up next week and my ladies will be making an updated Christmas Sampler to display in their homes for the holiday season. This is a class that I have run every Christmas for the last 2 years and one that is eagerly anticipated.

This is the one we made the first year. I apologise for the glare and poor photography, I am still learning to take better photos.

Last year, we did this one.

Now, none of my ladies have seen the finished project for this year. I have only been trickling some sneak peeks on my Facebook business page. This is one of them…

The overall design of each of these samplers has been inspired by the many projects I see on the internet from fellow demonstrators world wide. I take what I like and either directly CASE (copy and share everything) or I adjust to suit the products I have and/or to make it more to my own tastes.

I’m really liking the way I can build scenes in the snow globes using Still Scenes. This is not a set I purchased from the Holiday Catalogue, I borrowed it from my mother, but I’m loving it so much that I may just have to rethink that. I do think that I put a little bit too much of the Ice Stampin’ Glitter in this one but hey, there is always something new to learn, right?

So Many Stars is one of my favourite sets from this Holiday Catalogue. It is going to be a very versatile set not only making gorgeous Christmas cards, but has potential to be great for all your birthday card needs too.

So, there are three of the nine pieces of the sampler this year. I do hope the ladies like what we’re doing, and I’m pretty sure they will. I will be back with a full picture of the finished project after class is over.
