Jar of Flowers

Let’s use one of the Mason Jar Shaker Domes today.

For this card, I stamped the image in Gray Granite, just so it wasn’t quite so dark and in-your-face as it would be if I used Memento Tuxedo Black. It really softens the effect, especially when coloured with the pastels of Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

When you add in one of the Misty Moonlight, Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, it makes for a really quick card.

I took a 3×4 piece of Whisper White and glued a piece of Misty Moonlight DSP across the bottom. I punched with the Jar Punch and laid it over a second piece of the same size so that I could stamp the jar image from Jar of Flowers. Attach the Mason Jar Shaker Dome to the punched Whisper White piece and you can see that I’ve only used the white crystals from the Flowers for Every Season Gems, but also included a small amount of last year’s retired Ice Stampin Glitter.

The hardest part of this card is having to fussy cut out the flowers.
