Snowflake Wishes, again!
You know I’ve been on the Snowflake Wishes train lately. Oh, how I do love snowflakes!
Today, I’ve got another quick and easy card for you. Can you see a theme developing here?
If you remember, I have been working with the Snowflake Wishes stamp set for an upcoming Class by Mail (check back in soon) and whilst all of the supplies continue to be spread across my desk, I’m still loving playing around with them.
This is another really easy, but elegant card, showcasing the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. Using a piece of Whisper White card stock, partially sponged with Balmy Blue ink and then run through our new embossing machine. Wrap with a double layer of ribbon – the top layer is the Snowflake Splendor ribbon from the 2020 August-December Mini Catalogue and the bottom layer is our Metallic-Edge Ribbon in Silver & Whisper White from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.
BUT can you see that it’s not white??? I used the Balmy Blue dark Blends to colour it!!!
Say what?!?!?! Yes, didn’t you know you can colour any of our white/vanilla or pale ribbon with our alcohol Blends? I always carry quite a stash of white/pale ribbons just for this purpose alone.
Once again, the snowflakes are from the coordinating So Many Snowflakes dies, cut from Whisper White and painted with Wink of Stella to give just a hint of glittery sheen. A Stitched Nested Label was cut from Balmy Blue, the sentiment stamped with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. All placed onto a Whisper White Thick card base.
As you can see, just another quick and easy card, with a twist!
If you make one up, I’d love to see it.
