Snowflake Wishes

I love it when the Holiday catalogue comes out. I’m always keen to see a new snowflake stamp set.

I don’t know what it is about snowflakes that I love, maybe it’s being raised with all the story books and images showing a Christmas blanketed in snow. I frequently dreamt of celebrating a white Christmas – one day. It really would be quite contrary to the clear and sunny, hot and sweaty Christmas weather we have here in Australia at Christmastime.

So clearly, I just had to have the entire Snowflake Splendor Suite!

I have been working on creating cards with this suite for an upcoming Class by Mail (check back in next month) and whilst all of the supplies were still spread across my desk, I decided to also make up some other samples.

Oh, who am I kidding, I just love playing and creating with snowflakes! You may just see many more popping up here soon.

This is a really easy, but elegant little 4×4 card, showcasing a 3×3 piece of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, framed with Silver Foil. The snowflake is just one of the many presented in the coordinating So Many Snowflakes dies, cut from Whisper White and painted with Wink of Stella to give just a hint of glittery sheen. The sentiment comes from Itty Bitty Christmas and was stamped with Versamark, again on Whisper White and heat set with silver embossing powder.

As you can see, just a quick and easy mini card.
